Aline Chagas underwent medical training at Federal University of Bahia in Brazil and completed Medical Residences in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Hospital Santo Antônio in Bahia and the Faculty of Medicine at the Univeristy of São Paulo. She is currently Head of Hepatology Team at the Faculty of Medicine at the Univeristy of São Paulo and also Assistant Physician and the São Paulo Cancer Institute. Her clinical research experience is in phase III trials for hepatocellular carcinoma.
