Gastroenterology
Dr. Mortagy is an internal medicine resident doctor at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. He has a special interest in neuroendocrine neoplasm research, big data, and artificial intelligence.
He completed the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program (GCSRT) at Harvard Medical School and the Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Dr. Mortagy has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. He has delivered multiple oral and poster presentations at the UKINETS and ENETS annual conferences, receiving multiple travel grants. He was awarded the Best Oral Presentation at UKINETS. He serves as a trainee member of the Education/Training and Research Committees at UKINETS, a member of the Lung NET Task Force at ENETS, and a member of the Young NETS (Y-NETS) Committee for ENETS.
