Scientific Lead

Daniel has over 20 years of experience in the medical communications field. He has worked in both the pharmaceutical manufacturing and the agency sides of the business, and so appreciates the commercial requirements of his clients. With a first class honours degree in Microbiology, Daniel’s formal scientific training is based in the area of infectious diseases. Since then, he has worked at Senior Editor level across a wide variety of therapeutic areas. With expertise in the fields of infection prevention and treatment, respiratory diseases, dermatology, endocrinology, oncology, the CNS, internal medicine, rare genetic conditions, reproductive health, and rheumatology, Daniel’s experience is broad as well as in-depth. Daniel has worked on a range of strategic initiatives for world-class clients, including comprehensive communications programmes; congress activities such as symposium management, slide kits, and newsletters; stand-alone advisory meetings; faculty development schemes; competitor analyses; and other editorial items, at both the commercial and CME ends of the business. In addition, he has worked in the areas of pharmacoeconomics, health outcomes, Protocol and Study Report writing, and submissions for medical regulatory agency approval of new therapies. His particular skills encompass the effective hard-copy and digital communication of scientific and medical information to a variety of audiences, and his interests allow the building of productive and effective relationships with faculty and client alike.
