Michael Duruisseaux is Professor in Medecine at the University of Lyon in France and Thoracic Oncologist at Hospices Civils de Lyon, the second largest French university hospital. 

 

He is the head of a thoracic oncology unit and of an early phase study unit dedicated to lung cancer patients. 

 

He is the PI of the TheraLung Lab at Cancer Research Center of Lyon (INSERM 1052 CNRS 5286) that aims to discover therapeutic vulnerabilities in oncogene-addicted lung cancers. 

 

His field of expertise is clinical and translational research in oncogene-addicted lung cancer, including the development of new treatment approaches. 

He is the lead author or the co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles.
