Haematologist
Dr Hanny Al-Samkari is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and clinical investigator in the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Division of Hematology. He also serves as the Associate Director of the MGH Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Center of Excellence. His clinical and research interests are in hemostasis, thrombosis, and hemolysis, with focuses in immune thrombocytopenia, HHT, anti-angiogenic therapeutics, and hereditary hemolytic anemias. He also does research into novel indications for the thrombopoietin receptor agonists. He currently serves as PI for several clinical trials in these areas.
