Oncologist and Associate Professor of Medicine
Martina Murphy, MD is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida. She is a clinical investigator and medical educator specializing in the care of patients with gynecologic malignancies. Her research focuses in the equitable and accurate healthcare communication across the oncology spectrum as well as the study of issues pertinent to quality cancer care and cancer survivorship. Dr Murphy has a strong dedication to medical education and is actively involved on a national level in research in medical education primarily related to mentorship, career and professional development and novel curriculum development. She serves as the Program Director for the UF Hematology/Oncology fellowship program as well as an Assistant Director for the UF Health Cancer Center Training and Education Program.
