Hematologist
Sabine Eichinger, MD, is professor in the field of hematology, head of the coagulation clinic and deputy head of the Division of Hematology and Hemostasis at the Medical University Hospital of Vienna, Austria. She received her training at the Medical University of Vienna and at the Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Eichinger chaired the Scientific and Standardizing Committee of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and was a board member of the European Hematology Association. She serves as associated editor of the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. She authored numerous highly ranked scientific articles and received several prestigious academic awards including the Esteemed Career Award of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
