In December 2023, cancer specialists from China and the US came together to attend the virtual 3rd China-US Anti-Cancer Summit, co-organised by the China Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) and the US-China Anti-Cancer Association (USCACA).

Anti-cancer leaders from China and the US took part in presentations and a panel discussion and exchanged ideas and perspectives on the following:

  • The development of holistic, integrative management of cancer in China
  • Cancer research progress in the US
  • Innovations in oncology: the role of ASCO in improving cancer care
  • Treatment of advanced lung cancer: current and future perspectives

The panel of experts also discussed how to collaborate internationally to ensure global relevance of locally generated trial data and to harmonise regulations for trial endpoints to strengthen the global fight against cancer.

Educational objectives

  • Share insights and perspectives on the management and treatment of cancer patients in the US and China
  • Inform oncologists about the current and future developments in lung cancer
  • Generate awareness of the latest innovations and progress in cancer research in the US and China
